The interactive workshop for academics and neurologists aims to discuss and collate the viewpoints of clinical experts in multiple sclerosis and academics on appropriate medical and regulatory requirements for the demonstration of similarity of follow-on non-biological complex drugs (NBCDs) in the field of multiple sclerosis.
Thirty-one participants, speakers included, coming from Belgium, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Hungary, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Switzerland, The Netherlands, Turkey, UK and USA attended the workshop.
At the end of the workshop, participants came up with suggested recommendations or best practices for regulation, approval, clinical use and post-marketing monitoring of NBCDs including glatiramoids.
